Competitors may register for climbing, bouldering, or both.
Schedule:
Climbing and Bouldering
Both the climbing and bouldering competitions will be point based systems. Points will be awarded for each successfully completed climb without falling. The amount of points awarded for each successful climb will be relative to the difficulty of the route. Additional points will be awarded for successful first attempts. Competitors with the highest scores in each division will be invited to participate in the final events.
Monday, August 11
10:00 am - 11:00 am: Welcome/Competition Introduction/Warm up
11:00 am - 4:00 pm : General Climbing/Bouldering*
Tuesday, August 12
10:00 am - 1:00 pm : General Climbing/Bouldering*
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Climbing and Bouldering Finals
* Participants need not be in attendance for the entire duration of these time periods. Participants with the highest points in each division at the end of the General Climbing/Bouldering sessions will be invited to participate in the finals.

Divisions:
The following divisions will be created for the climbing and bouldering competitions. Separate divisions will be created for men and women. The table below provides general guidelines for each level based upon common rating systems. Competitors should use the grading scale based upon the highest grade climb successfully completed.

*Advanced competitors in the climbing competition should be comfortable leading sport routes.
The Games has the right to combine two or more of these categories based on the number of registered climbers or to change an individual’s division based upon performance.
