Parking: Bear right at the guard shack, go about 100 yards, turn left to the parking area, park as close to the lake as possible.

Skill Level
Each division will consist of the following categories for Doubles competition:
- A - Competitive
- BB - Advanced
- B - Average
- C - Recreational
Participation
Doubles tournament for women and men/mixed: two (2) players on the court per team, no more than 2 on the roster.
Medals will be awarded to the top three (3) finishers in each division.
Schedule
The Beach Volleyball tournament will consist of Preliminary Rounds (Pool Play) and Single Elimination Rounds.
Teams will play a minimum of four (4) matches in the Preliminary Rounds, two games per match. Elimination Round matches will be best “2 out of 3” games.
*Beach Volleyball players who also want to compete in Volleyball can participate in both events. Gay Games will make all efforts possible to arrange the schedule accordingly.
Rules
The two-person Beach Volleyball rules of the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) www.fivb.org will be used for all tournament matches, as amended by 2014 Gay Games. Any rule changes will be posted on this site by 1 June 2014.
All competitions must involve teams with the required number of players, two (2). Teams with fewer than the required number of players must forfeit.
Mixed teams are allowed, and will compete in the men's division. Participants can play on only one team in the tournament.
The team captain is the only player who can represent the team in dealings with the officials. Either player may serve as the captain.
