Rules

The meet will use the rules of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) and USA Track and Field (USATF), and supplemented by rules of the Gay Games, which will be posted at least three months before the events.

Rules for progression from heats and qualifying rounds are determined by the number of competitors who present for competition on the day. If heats are not required due to insufficient confirmations of entries, then the semi-final or final will be staged at the pre-published time and date and not held at the time of the qualifying round.
