*Novice Division will be a drop-in division. No groups/teams may enter. Each participant will enter as an individual player and tournament directors will create even-strength teams based on player's self evaluations.

Participation

A maximum of 16 players and 2 goaltenders and a minimum of 10 players and one goaltender are required per team.

Each player only may register for one team per divison (Women's and/or Men's/Mixed, not on two teams within a division), and all individuals must be assigned a team regardless of ability.

Women are allowed to play on men’s teams.

Medals are awarded to the top three (3) teams in each division’s skill level.

All ice hockey players will be given a FREE tournament jersey. Your captain will inquire about sizes and we'll do our best to match players with the sizes requested. Teams are not required to take team uniforms, as they may play with their own jerseys, as long as every player on the team has the same uniform.

Schedule

The Ice Hockey Tournament consists of two (2) rounds:

  • Preliminary Round (round-robin format)
  • Medal Round

Redbook Rule Updates:

Open (Men's/Mixed) teams are allowed a maximum of seven (7) players on the field during play.

Participants may only register for and play on one team with their division (Men's/Mixed or Women's Division). The only exception to this rule is if a goaltender is injured, another tournament registered goaltender may be substituted in pending the approval of the injured goaltender's team captain and the tournament directors.
