Boy George headlines the official 2014 Gay Games White Party
Support from Marc Vedo and Evan Evolution for premier event Monday, August 11 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
Iconic musician and performer Boy George will headline the official Gay Games 9 White Party on Monday, August 11, at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in downtown Cleveland. The highly anticipated White Party is one of the premier social events of the Gay Games, August 9-16.
Boy George will be joined by internationally-known deejay Marc Vedo and Cleveland-based electronic dance deejay/producer Evan Evolution to present a night of electronic music during this Gay Games signature event. Party goers can expect a massive sound, light and visual stage production powered by Advanced Concert Productions. ACP is best known for its national and international stage builds for Life In Color “World’s Largest Paint Party,” Ultra Music Festival in Miami and The Spring Awakening Festival in Chicago.
Boy George, the former front man for Culture Club, is currently entertaining as a high-demand festival and touring performer worldwide, and will bring his unique brand of dance music to Cleveland as a special stop along his nine-city U.S. tour this summer promoting his current album: This is What I Do, his first full album in 18 years.
The exclusive VIP White Carpet Event happens before the party aboard the Nautica Queen dining cruise ship. The Ultra VIP experience includes dance music from DJ Mike Gunn, open bar, food and more during a two-hour scenic party cruise. This limited ticketed event includes white carpet entrance, VIP patio and service during the White Party.
White Party event coordinators, Liquid Nightclub, Tru Events and Jacobs Pavilion, proudly announce further support of Northeast Ohio’s LGBT community by donating $1 from every ticket sold to the new LGBT fund being established by Gay Games 9 at the Cleveland Foundation.
